My wife and I own a company that has just been voted in #1 in Richmond Magazine’s R-Home 2016 Readers’ Survey “Estate Specialists” category from among 64 registered Estates Sales Companies in the Richmond area. We are now reaching out to you because our company can help you and your clients.

 

We are a locally originated, locally based on-site estate sales company with long and far-reaching ties to the area and its communities. We have served our impressive list of clients in the surrounding counties, cities and towns for a number of years. Our lengthy portfolio ranges from a prior Attorney General for Virginia to Richmond’s only two-time Academy Award winner. We’ve conducted the largest estate sale in Richmond to date, a 12,000 square foot Monument Avenue home.

 

Having conducted sales in venues ranging from modest suburban homes to grand, historic mansions, we are well-versed in the identification and marketing of the widest array of treasures. With many specialists and experts in their fields at our disposal, this diverse experience also allows us to be able to work effectively with a number of clients from a broad range of backgrounds.

 

Here’s how we can help you. You have clients who are selling their homes due to relocation or down-sizing; you likely also have clients who are selling homes for loved ones. In order for you to more effectively show and sell those homes, there may be a need for a thinning out of contents or, as you know, in many cases the property may show better completely bare, as a blank canvas. Ultimately, the entire home will need to be cleared in order to be turned over to the new homeowner. That’s where we come in. We will work with you and your clients to stage, price, and conduct an on-site estate sale to liquidate the contents, and ultimately lessen the stress for you and your clients. An important thing to keep in mind is that if we conduct a sale for a homeowner after you list it on the market, there are a large number of people who will view the property while attending that sale. With our own marketing, we generally expect several hundred people to attend the sale, thereby creating a palpable sense of urgency and excitement. We have been effective on a number of occasions in helping to actually sell homes for realtors and homeowners when our only role was to conduct an on-site estate sale.
