We are pleased to announce that we are representing the Estate of Virginia Mary Seay Meador of Midlothian, formerly Victoria.  Please join us in this beautifully decorated home in Brandermill.  Mrs. Meador, as many will know and remember was one of Richmond’s premiere interior designers, having worked with Chasen’s Gallery, Virginia Wayside, Colony House, and Leo Burke.  Mrs. Meador also worked for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and has decorated many of Richmond’s elegant homes.  Her home is no less beautiful.  It is furnished in phenomenal style, with fine handcrafted furniture and accessories from manufacturers such as Henkel Harris, Biggs, Craftique, Ridgeway, Statton, Kittinger, Karistan, Virginia Metalcrafters, Steiff, and other offerings from the Colonial Williamsburg collections.  There is crystal, china, silver and pewter from Lenox, Royal Doulton, Spode, Noritake, Steiff, etc, as well as period pieces form the 18th and 19th century, too.  The home consists of a formal dining room, formal library, large family room, eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms and three baths with items available throughout.  Period and contemporary artwork, needlework, bedding, books, glassware, musical instruments, carpets, brassware, and a large collection of fine jewelry, as well as coins, both new and vintage.
