Mary Baldwin University is excited to announce a unique opportunity for alumni and community members to own a piece of MBU history. As part of an initiative to bring new life to unused furniture, rugs, and MBU community art, some of which was created by faculty and students that has been stored in campus buildings for years, MBU is partnering with Gates Estates to offer these items for sale.

Featuring a range of pieces that once adorned the halls and rooms of MBU, this special sale is an opportunity both to acquire vintage and historical items, and to support the university.

“We have a treasure trove of furniture, carpets and art in good condition that, while no longer needed by the university, holds significant sentimental value and charm,” said General Djuric. “We’re thrilled to offer our alumni and community members the chance to bring these pieces into their homes, giving them a new life.”
